CCTS Launch a success

TORONTO - Over 100 people stopped by the Merchant of Tennis in Toronto on February 8th to launch the Caribbean Cup Tennis Series. The launch was a great evening that raised funds for Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation.

A few celebrities were in attendance including former world Kick Boxing Champion Joe Valtellini, former squash world #1 and world champion Jonathon Power and Dwight Drummond from CBC.

The Honourable Fitzroy Huggins consulate general of the St. Vincent and Grenadines made a speech and was welcomed as the newest event in the series. 

The Caribbean Cup Tennis Series is comprised of 6 masters tournaments in Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Cayman, Jamaica and St. Vincent. The events feature junior and adult events with players from Canada and around the world along with exhibitions that have in the past few years have featured former world #1 Jim Courier, Wimbledon Champion Marion BartoliXavier MalDarian King, Philip Kohlschreiber, Jesse Witten and many others. Proceeds go to various local charities including Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation which built at school with Serena Williams.
